Looking forward to today's night game schedule, when the Mooroopna Cats take on Shepparton Swans at Mooroopna Rec Reserve.
It will be the 19th year the two great GVL Clubs have battled for the Blue Ribbon Shield across nine games of football and netball.
Played in memory of the 170 Victorian police officers who have fallen serving our community, local police also appreciate the support and acknowledgment displayed for those that continue to serve.
The beautiful struck best player medallions are presented across all games, players wear police checkered arm bands and share the emotional pre-senior game ceremony - it will again be a wonderful evening and we thank both clubs and the GVL community for their support.
We stand together in remembrance of the fallen and in gratitude for those serving.
